The Zifino Story

In a prior venture, when the founders of Zifino were asked by a customer to do a penetration test, they found the human-led pen test to be expensive and slow in generating a report (it took 6 weeks!). Some of the bigger brands offered products that were complex, very expensive and did not deliver IT ROI.

To effectively help many customers of many sizes, Zifino purpose-built a software platform that automates detection and prioritization of external attack surface (also called Attack Surface Management, or ASM). We want to deliver maximum value and quickly, thus providing peace of mind.

Zifino was founded by a team of MIT engineers driven by a clear mission: to create a simple, affordable security solution for their clients. When they couldn't find a tool that met these needs on the market, their passion for cybersecurity led them to build one themselves. Thus, Zifino was born—a platform designed from the ground up, shaped by real-world challenges, and engineered to be both intuitive and cost-effective.
